Derrick Dee Davis
Derrick “DEE” Davis is originally from Laurel, Mississippi and currently resides in Buford, Georgia with his two children, twenty-five year old Derrick, and fourteen year old Kristian.
Derrick is an active member at Bread of Life Church led by pastors Jeffery and Yolanda Wright, where he was recently licensed and ordained as a Minister. He is also enrolled in Charis Bible College.
In 1995 at the age of 26, he gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. He has always had a heart for helping others, and soon after committing his life to the Lord, he began taking action to serve in various capacities.
Derrick has led many outreach efforts in his local community and beyond, with fellow laborers voluntarily providing their time, money, food, clothing and other items. He is continuously amazed by God’s provision when he steps out in faith and finds other people with a desire to assist in the Lord’s work.
He has been involved in various ministry outlets such as, Celebrate Recovery and the Wow Gospel Ministry. With the help of the Lord, he established “Celebration Station” from the ground up and began “A Call to Victory”, a weekly online bible study. His daughter Kristian plays a role in the ministry as well, and is oftentimes his closest and best advisor. She has been a part of many crucial decisions.

As co-founder of Two Men and a Prayer Outreach Ministry, a non-profit organization, Derrick, with the support of family, friends and volunteers, has organized various efforts to assist families and children. The organization previously visited and fellowshipped with some of the homeless community in the downtown Atlanta area, distributing food, clothing and hygiene products on the third Saturday of each month.
The ministry also provided for a monthly Kid’s Fun Day event for children and their families at a local apartment complex in Duluth, Georgia. These events included food, fun, and interaction with the community, all while emphasizing the Lord through bible teaching.
Derrick loves working with children as all who worked alongside him during the monthly fun day activities can attest. During his former membership with Victory World Church, he served as a leader of the Children’s Ministry. Children are always happy to see “Mr. Derrick”; he treats them like his very own.
Apart from the obvious call and anointing of God on his life, Derrick receives practical training by serving in local churches where he has been a member, and numerous hands-on outreach activities including prison ministry and teaching/preaching as invited by other churches or organizations.
Derrick is currently building a ministry team (web presence/social media) to be more effective and reach more people with the Gospel on social media, and has also begun traveling outside of Georgia.
Derrick’s vision is to “go into the entire world and encourage God’s people from the inside out, providing them with useful information for practical application that they might be equipped to walk in VICTORY in every area of their lives.” This stems from Derrick’s desire to bring awareness about the true Word of God, to others in the community. An actual knowledge and application of the Word of God is what matters. Many people are missing out on a true relationship with God.
Derrick has encountered people that could provide an explanation as to the meaning of a particular color or number, but would complain about not being able to get an answer to a prayer, or were not aware that God loves them, no matter what. Derrick’s mission is to carry the truth of God’s love everywhere he can with an emphasis on having a personal relationship with Jesus.
As an humble servant of the Lord, Derrick is affectionately known by many as Brother Dee. When asked about what he enjoys most about serving the Lord, he humbly stated, “seeing the smiles on the faces of those receiving the blessings.”
